Turvac became an independent company in the beginning of 2016, when Turna made a spin-off of its Vacuum insulation panel’s division. It is specialized in the production of Vacuum Insulation Panels (“VIP"), located at the new facility in Šoštanj (Slovenia).
With this JV Turvac will strengthen its market position even further considering Recticel leading position in high performance insulation solutions for the European building market, as well as their experiences in development of advanced insulation materials.
Recticel Insulation will commercialize VIPs for certain niche applications in the construction market, whereas TURNA will continue focusing on the sale of such products in the household appliances markets.
Recticel is a Belgian Group which operates in the EU as well as in the rest of the world. It employs about 7.600 people in 27 countries with combined sales of EUR 1.33 billion in 2015.
